A Story of Hope and Community: Remembering Aaron Evans
We continue to be inspired by the memory of Aaron Evans, whose journey highlighted the importance of compassionate care and community support.
Aaron became a beloved member of our church and community and just blossomed once we made connection with him through meal deliveries.
The collaborative spirit of Aaron Meals and Forgotten Coast Community Church helped provide Aaron with a peaceful and dignified home in his final years.
A subset of our team provided in-home hospice care for Aaron as he passed away on Easter Sunday at sunrise.

Volunteer Spotlight: Kate Johnson - The Heart of Eastpoint Deliveries!
Meet Kate Johnson, one of our dedicated volunteers who embodies the spirit of Aaron Meals! In spite of a very busy schedule, Kate generously dedicates her Mondays to cooking and delivering meals in Eastpoint. From lunchtime to after dinner, she lovingly prepares nutritious meals, ensuring they are ready to bring comfort and sustenance to our recipients.

Following her time in the kitchen, Kate embarks on her delivery route, where she has formed meaningful connections with the individuals she serves – connections that go beyond just a meal. Volunteers like Kate are the heart of the personal touch that Aaron Meals strives to create, fostering a sense of community and care. Thank you, Kate, for your incredible dedication!
